KARAT® MAXI has become standard terminology in high quality mooring applications. Very high strength/weight ratio allows substantial size reductions and ease in handling, as well as providing excellent overall economy.
The new KARAT® MAXI PLUS tails:
– Have the same properties but offer a higher TDBF and much better abrasion resistance.
– Have been manufactured and tested following the guidelines in appendix B of the Mooring Equipment Guidelines, 4th Edition 2018.
– Are Lloyd’s Register Type approved with Cert.No.LR2043828TA.
